Road Construction Subcontract

Scope: Dredging, Construction

Overview: The 23KM road linking Adada and Oruma towns was designed to traverse through swamp and cross 4 rivers. Our subcontract involved confirmation surveys, clearing the right of way for the road, geotechnical survey and sub-soil investigation, soil stripping/ earth moving and eventual backfilling of the road to a level of 1.5M above the existing grade. The total volume of sand which SAV dredged and used for the backfilling operation exceeded 350,000m3.

Access Road Contracts
Client: Kogi State Government
Location: Lokoja and Idah, Kogi State
Scope: Construction

Overview: Access roads, within the Governor’s Lodge complex and to the palace of the traditional ruler of Idah, totaling 10KM were constructed by us within budget and on time for our client. The asphalt overlay roads were constructed in difficult rocky terrain which was especially challenging.
