Overview: Our client, a major producer of palm oil and related products, operates in a remote location beyond the coverage of the national electricity grid and thus produces all its electrical power. Over a period of 30 months troubleshooting and repairs were carried out on the 6 generators of various makes with ratings of 300KVA to 1650KVA.

Troubleshooting and Repair of Pumps

Overview: NAFCON is the biggest fertilizer plant in Nigeria producing urea and other products. Its total pumping capacity exceeds 5,000KW. SAV carried out troubleshooting and repair of various single stage centrifugal pumps and single and multi-stage axial flow pumps, including submersible electric pumps.

Design and Fabrication of Steel Tanks
Client: National Fertilizer Company of Nigeria
Location: Onne, Rivers State
Scope: Engineering, Procurement and Fabrication

Overview: Tanks for storing fuels, processed water and acid were designed and fabricated on a turnkey basis as part of a construction subcontract during the building of NAFCON. The materials used for the tanks included mild steel, carbon steel and stainless steel. Tank design was carried out to BSI standards.
